(b) Departure of Certain Officers

 

On October 15, 2008, Frederick Quandt gave notice of resignation from his position as Senior Vice President—Merchandising for Golfsmith International Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) effective October 28, 2008. The Company does not expect to hire or appoint a replacement for Mr. Quandt at this time and has assigned his duties to other members of the executive team.
