         Defense Technology Systems, Inc. (the "Company") is not able to file
its Quarterly Report on Form 10-QSB within the prescribed time for the following
reason: additional time was required to include certain pending transaction and
subsequent event disclosures.

The Company's total revenues for the three month period in 2004 are estimated to
be $117,774 compared to $92,519 for the three month period in 2003. The net
income for the three month period in 2004 is estimated to be $136,849 compared
to a net loss of $2,670,898 for the three month period in 2003.
