The following message is being sent to BGE, ComEd and PECO employees on behalf of Ken DeFontes, Frank Clark and Denis O’Brien

Two weeks ago, as you know, a team of leaders from across the Exelon and Constellation businesses met in Baltimore to officially kick off the integration planning process for our proposed merger under the leadership of Ron DeGregorio from Exelon and Steve Woerner from Constellation.

Teams have been formed to address integration as it relates to every facet of our companies. With regard to our utility businesses, we have recently engaged a team of leaders to focus on merger activities for BGE, ComEd and PECO. Charlie White will serve as the Exelon lead for the Utilities Business Area Team, with John Borkoski as his counterpart for Constellation. Also, Kelly Colarelli from PECO and Ken Dorsey from BGE will provide project support.

The Utilities Business Area Team includes five sub-teams. Below is a list of the employees we’ve asked to lead them:

Sub-Team

BGE

ComEd

PECO

Customer Service    Susan Maseth    Bill DeLoach    Frank Jiruska
Gas    Blake Gardner    N/A    Pete Ancona
Electric    Ken Braerman    Bob Johnson    Derrick Dickens
Government & Regulatory Affairs    Wayne Harbaugh    Bob Garcia    Liz Murphy

These groups are already hard at work to ensure our utilities are ready for “Day 1” of our new company. We are excited to have them assembled, and are very confident in their ability to thoroughly address integration planning from the utility perspective.

As we continue in the integration planning process, we expect many employees will be asked for their input – and we want to thank you in advance for your support.

As always, however, the most important thing you can do to ensure our success is to continue your 100 percent focus on your work – remaining fully focused on safety, reliability and customer service.
