Other Events.
 
On February 14, 2018, 1st Constitution Bancorp (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it received approval from the State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of the proposed merger of New Jersey Community Bank with and into the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, 1st Constitution Bank.
 
A copy of the press release is attached and is being furnished as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
