On May 22, 2008, General Electric Company filed a lawsuit against SonoSite, Inc. in the federal district court in the Western District of Wisconsin seeking to invalidate SonoSite’s US Patent No. 5,722,412, “Hand Held Ultrasonic Diagnostic Instrument”.
