Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 14, 2010, Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (the “Company”) announced in a press release that its founder and former Chief Executive Officer, Ronald C. Morgan, adopted a new pre-arranged stock trading plan under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. This plan replaces the previously announced stock trading plan that Mr. Morgan entered into on December 14, 2009, which would have expired on December 30, 2010. Mr. Morgan’s plan allows for the sale of up to 400,000 shares of the Company’s common stock over a one year time period, subject to price restrictions, quarterly volume limits and other contingencies. The press release announcing Mr. Morgan’s plan is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
