WARSAW, PL / ACCESS Newswire / December 10, 2025 / Provident Polska S.A., one of Poland's largest non-banking financial institutions, has received a full Payment Institution (KIP) license from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego - KNF).

The license marks a major step in Provident Polska's nearly 30-year history and allows the company to expand its range of financial services. It removes the restrictions of its previous small payment institution status, enabling Provident Polska to issue credit cards and offer payment services without transaction limits.

The KIP license follows a two-year application process and strengthens Provident Polska's position as a key player in the Polish financial market. As of the end of 2024, the company had issued more than 200,000 credit cards, providing a strong base for future growth.

With the new authorization, Provident Polska plans to enhance its digital services, expand its credit card offering, and improve the customer experience through innovative technologies and more flexible financial products.

Beyond domestic growth, the license also enables Provident Polska to operate across the European Economic Area (EEA) under the EU passporting system - paving the way for potential expansion in Europe.
