Wolters Kluwer Presents “Top 10 Insurance Market Conduct Issues of 2020” Webinars

Sessions for property & casualty, life & health insurers will highlight regulator exam focus

Kathy Donovan, Senior Compliance Counsel for Wolters Kluwer Compliance Solutions, will present two webinars in late September focusing on the top market conduct issues identified in regulatory enforcement actions in 2020. The Top 10 Property & Casualty Market Conduct Issues session will take place from 2-3 pm EDT Wednesday, Sept. 29, and the Top 10 Life & Health Market Conduct Issues session will occur 2-3 pm EDT Thursday, Sept. 30.

Now in its seventeenth year, Wolters Kluwer’s annual review uses public data from the prior year to look at U.S. property and casualty, life, and health insurers’ market conduct actions, including exams and other enforcement actions.

“Insurers today face a range of compliance issues, from managing the continuing array of regulatory changes to dealing in a compliant manner with momentous challenges affecting their customers, such as Covid and the extreme weather events this past year,” said Steve Meirink, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Compliance Solutions. “These webinars provide insurers with expert insights into what regulators have reviewed in insurance market conduct compliance.”
