HarbourVest Partners Appoints Adam Freedman as a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer

HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets investment specialist, today announced the appointment of Adam Freedman as a managing director and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).

Freedman has more than 15 years of in-house legal and compliance experience, and most recently he was CCO and Associate General Counsel at Angelo, Gordon & Co. Prior to that role, he was an Executive Director in the Legal and Compliance division at Morgan Stanley.

Freedman received his BA from Yale, his law degree from Oxford, and his Master’s in Law from the University of Chicago.
