The Annual Heroines of Excellence Awards honors women who are leaders in their industries and through their own initiatives. Legendary actress Vanessa Williams ("Soul Food", "New Jack City") will be presented the "Iconic Sister Award." Additional honorees are Bobbi Baker, Erika Liles, Dr. Kordai, Mfoniso Akpan, Tara Enahoro, Esq., who will receive the International Heroine Award; Heather Palmore, Esq.; Shawntee White-Yates, Dana Wilson, Aria Wright and Dr. Adjoa Smalls-Mantey, who will receive the Superheroine Award.

About Heather Palmore

Heather M. Palmore, Esq. has practiced law for over 26 years. Among her current cases, she recently filed a $50 million lawsuit against the County of Suffolk, the Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) and the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office on behalf of Mr. Waverly Lucas.
