Hannah Stone Craven named to 2023 WSJ Private Equity Women to Watch

Stone-Goff Partners (“SGP”), a private equity firm focused on investing in business-to-business service companies active in the knowledge economy, is proud to congratulate Hannah Stone Craven, co-founder and managing partner, for her recognition as one of ten senior deal makers in The Wall Street Journal Pro Private Equity’s 2023 Women to Watch special report. The award recognizes honorees who stood out for the breadth and depth of their deal-making experience, as well as their dedication to elevating the careers of others and empowering future generations of investment professionals.

“This recognition highlights our growth as a firm, as well as the growth in the careers of others in the industry. As a private equity leader, one of the key roles is developing and recruiting executives within portfolio companies. I’ve been thrilled and privileged to work with so many talented women within our portfolio companies including CEO’s, CFO's, COO’s, and Directors,” said Hannah. “I’m grateful to appear among so many distinguished and successful peers.”

A highlight of Hannah’s career has been the SGP internship program, now in its tenth year, which has hired over twenty college and MBA students with a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences.

Hannah, who co-founded Stone-Goff Partners in 2010 with Laurens Goff, has a 25-year history of deal making in the lower middle market. Since its inception, SGP has completed 19 platform transactions, more than 18 add-on acquisitions and 11 exits. Hannah is a member of PE-WIN and Stanford Women on Boards. Prior to launching SGP, Hannah was a partner at Sandler Capital Management.
