27 Provider Princeton Brain, Spine & Sports Medicine Moves to the Intelligent eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR

New Jersey & Pennsylvania-based practice transitions to the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR for improved efficiency and cost savings

eClinicalWorks®, the largest ambulatory cloud EHR, today announced that Princeton Brain, Spine & Sports Medicine (PBSSM) is moving to the intelligent eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR. Princeton Brain, Spine & Sports Medicine has used eClinicalWorks since 2010 and is transitioning to the cloud to eliminate additional costs for managed IT services for manual upgrades, database backups, and maintenance of MySQL servers.

“We were hesitant to move to the eClinicalWorks Cloud because of the differences between the cloud and server versions. Change is not always easy, especially when it’s your EHR, the backbone of our practice. However, it was one of the best decisions we ever made,” said Lyndsey Gill, executive director at Princeton Brain, Spine & Sports Medicine. “Moving to the eClinicalWorks Cloud reduced costs and required maintenance time while providing us access to our records anywhere at any time.”

Princeton Brain, Spine & Sports Medicine will experience the following benefits from moving to the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR:

  • Scheduled maintenance windows for server and application upgrades and security updates.
  • Automated data backups, both incremental and daily.
  • Convenient access to the eClinicalWorks EHR and practice management (PM) solution anywhere, anytime, on a secure internet connection.
  • Scalability and adaptability so the practice can grow without worrying about site storage, weather, capacity, or upgrades.

“With the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR, our practice can focus on patient care and leave the maintenance and upgrades to eClinicalWorks,” said Gill. “Many of our providers and physician assistants work off-site at hospital locations, so cloud access saves them the time and stress of signing into our servers to access the eClinicalWorks EHR and PM. With the accessibility of the eClinicalWorks Cloud, we can accomplish our missions and goals.”
