Metronet Powers Up Findlay with 100% Fiber Optic Internet; Residents Now Eligible for Service

Metronet today announced that 100% fiber optic internet is officially available to residents and businesses in initial construction areas throughout Findlay. As Metronet’s service becomes available throughout the city, residents will have access to multi-gigabit speeds up to 2 gigabits; and businesses may access speeds up to 10 gigabits. Customers located in Metronet’s initial construction areas may now sign up for service installation online at metronet.com.

“We are proud to officially connect our first Findlay customers to 100% fiber optic internet, providing the community with the opportunity to experience faster internet speeds, reliable connectivity, and exceptional customer service,” said Ben Ruzick, Metronet Government Affairs Director. “We are thankful for the support received from city leadership and the community as we've worked quickly to deploy a service that presents the community with another service option, supporting Findlay's future success.”

As Metronet continues construction throughout Findlay, residents in construction areas will receive 30 days advance notice by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood. Metronet provides additional messaging, such as yard signs, to notify residents of when construction is beginning in their neighborhood. Metronet crews are marked by ID tags and branded vehicles.
