Over the years, Boos & Co. expanded their product offerings to include butcher blocks in other designs and species of wood, including maple, walnut, oak and cherry; and in other construction styles (e.g., edge-grain, where wood pieces are arranged horizontally rather than vertically; and blended-grain, where not all wood pieces extend across the full length of the block).
