Tim earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1978 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toledo in 1975, where he was a member of the Blue Key Honor Society. His career has spanned 40 years of management in the trust and wealth management sectors, including leading the trust and wealth divisions of large regional banking institutions. Over the years, Tim has also successfully launched two trust companies, one of which was nationally chartered, and has served as President of five different trust organizations.
His practice at TNS Associates will focus on taxation, estate planning, elder law, and probate, offering clients tailored strategies designed to protect and preserve their assets for generations to come. Tim’s extensive background in trust administration and wealth management gives him a unique perspective that bridges both the legal and financial aspects of estate planning, ensuring clients receive advice that is comprehensive, practical, and aligned with their long-term goals.

Throughout his career, Tim has been committed to more than just professional achievement, he has also dedicated significant time to community service. He served on the Board of Trustees for Colorado Christian University from 2001 to 2010, contributing his leadership and insight to the school’s mission and growth. Tim and his wife of 44 years, Sandy, are avid skiers who enjoy the outdoors and have made faith-based ministry work an important part of their lives. Together, they have raised two sons and a daughter, and they are the proud grandparents of four granddaughters and two grandsons.
