By: PRLog
PRLog - June 15, 2015 - CHICAGO -- Jeron Electronic Systems, Inc. will be exhibiting at The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Annual Conference & Expo June 22-25, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The NFPA Conference & Expo is regarded as the most comprehensive industry event for fire, electrical and building safety. The event is a unique opportunity for the company to reach industry experts and stay current with technological advances in building safety.

Jeron will be highlighting their Pro-Alert™ 480 Area of Rescue System used for emergency communications. Pro-Alert 480 is a life-safety emergency intercom solution typically used in an area of refuge during a fire or other emergency, when an evacuation may not be safe or possible. Occupants can communicate with an on-site or off-site call center until help arrives. This ‘area of rescue’ is typically located in stairwells in parking structures, industrial and commercial settings, and residential high rise buildings. This system meets Area of Rescue Assistance guidelines that are defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as those set forth in the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm Code.

Pro-Alert 480 features:

A variety of flexible station options, including highly visible vandal-resistant stations with mushroom-style buttons for easy call placement.

At-a-glance information for rescue workers to pinpoint the exact location of the caller, allowing them to provide immediate assistance without having to search for the origin of the call.

Common Cat-5 bus cabling for addressable call stations to conduct hands free, two-way communication with the on-site master station or off-site call center.

Reduced costs and installation time because of its relatively minimal need for conduit, wire and labor.

Jeron Electronic Systems, Inc. will be exhibiting at NFPA Booth #108, over these multiple days and times:

Monday, June 22:          4pm - 8pm
Tuesday, June 23:         11am - 4pm
Wednesday, June 24:    10am - 2pm
