U.S. stocks under pressure as tighter election race rattles investors

Stock futures shifted lower on Wednesday, in a continuation of weakness from the prior session and investors grew increasingly anxious ahead of what looks like a tightening U.S. election. A Fed decision due later was taking a back seat to this fresh nervousness over politics.
