Bridgeway Capital Management Named a Best Place to Work in Money Management by Pensions & Investments

Bridgeway Capital Management (Bridgeway), an independent, statistically-driven investment manager, is proud to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Money Management by Pensions & Investments magazine. This is the third time that Bridgeway’s unique firm culture has been recognized in the six years that Pensions & Investments has identified the best employers in the money management industry.

Bridgeway ranked fourth among the five winning firms in the category of managers with 20-49 employees. Bridgeway previously ranked first in the same category in Pensions & Investments’ 2015 survey, and third in the same category in the 2014 survey. Pensions & Investments announced this year’s results in their December 11, 2017 issue.

“There’s a reason we call our team members Partners, not employees, and we’re proud to have created a workplace where people can apply their unique talents to a shared purpose,” says Tammira Philippe, Bridgeway’s President. “Our firm’s servant leadership model recognizes that organizations thrive when management empowers its people to drive change and supports them with the resources they need to do so. Our Partners have embraced this role, and are delivering the results directly to the clients and communities we serve.”

Since 2012, Pensions & Investments, the international newspaper of money management, has ranked U.S.-based money managers on the results of employer and employee surveys. P&I’s partner on the project, Best Companies Group, conducted a two-part survey process of employers and their employees. An anonymous employee survey, which aimed to evaluate employee engagement and satisfaction, accounted for 75% of a firm's score; an employer survey, which evaluated workplace policies, practices, benefits and demographics, made up 25%.

Companies that made this year’s list shared a common characteristic: Employees who feel valued by their employer. Survey respondents also cited their colleagues, their firm’s culture and their benefits as factors that make top-ranked organizations great places to work.
