His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has Declared that 2018 Will Officially be Known in the UAE as the Year of Zayed
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / January 15, 2018 / This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates and who passed away in 2004.
In order to commemorate this historic national occasion, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has declared that 2018 will officially be known in the UAE as the Year of Zayed.
Hanadi Al Jarman, a budding publicist and expert writer, is so interested in this major news announcement, she has decided to officially launch her career as a journalist. She is currently in the process of getting a license to be a journalist, along with a copy editor, creative writer, copywriter and press release specialist.
In addition to her interest in the Year of Zayed, Al Jarman, who lives in the UAE, was also heartened by a recent news story about how His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed tweeted that His Highness Shaikh "Mohammed Bin Rashid is a brother, teacher, inspiring leader and partner in the development process."
The fact that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, took the time to his express his gratitude to Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was a very heart-warming gesture on his Accession Day anniversary, Al Jarman noted.
Also, Al Jarman noted, right before the 12th anniversary of his accession day on January 4, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote a beautiful letter to Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"In the letter, he urged residents to give thanks to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed 'with a meaningful word, or an inspiring picture, or a good act,'" Al Jarman noted, adding that she was delighted to read two stories about how the royals of the UAE are exchanging kind words of appreciation to each other.
