Little Rock, AR - Team Superstar South (TSSouth) is pleased to announce that it has joined the Under Armour Association (UAA) as the first Under Armour Circuit Team from the State of Arkansas. The elite high school basketball team was handpicked by UAA officials to join the program, which is described as “an organized, prestigious, high-level grassroots basketball league designed to empower the next generation of athletes to become better.”
During the past two years, TSSouth has maintained high positions in national rankings, while its student athletes have been regarded as top talent from college scouts, drawing significant recruitment interest from esteemed institutions across the nation.
“TSSouth would like to thank UAA for providing our players with the opportunity to hone their athletic skills and showcase their talents to a broader audience. We believe that, through their participation in the UAA experience, our student athletes will not only benefit from the UAA’s thriving teaching environment, but also from the added exposure that comes from being a part of this elite program, which can ultimately help them achieve their goals and aspirations,” said Mr. Jeff Jackson, TSSouth Program Director.
The TSSouth 16U team will lay the foundation for the upcoming 2021 and 2022 teams by playing on the UAA circuit, whose sessions are held in Atlanta, Dallas, and Indianapolis, and with Las Vegas the UAA circuit finals.
TSSouth is set to host tryouts for the - 2020, 2021, and 2022 teams - in early March, 2018. The exact dates will be announced in future communications with the press.
