Ed Sheeran hits number 1 on Billboard Reggae Album Charts

Supertsar Ed Sheeran and his  first cousin Jethro Alonestar Sheeran has hit number 1 on the Billboard Reggae Album Charts on a compilation reggae album entitled Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica.  This happened on February 13th 2018 and was posted on billboard.com and billboard.biz.  The songs with the Sheerans are both collabs with each other and were produced by Jethro Alonestar Sheeran.  The songs are entitled Real Life and Raise Em Up.

Other artists on the album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica include Mojo Morgan from 2016 Grammy award winners Morgan Heritage and 2018 Grammy Winner Damian Marley. The album also includes tracks from Sean Kingston Wyclef, Stephen Marley, Lee Scratch Perry, Capleton, Sizzla and Chronixx. New artists on the project include Cookie the Herbalist from Switzerland, Rollie Fresh, Bobo Zarro, Katie Bates, Jahonze amongst others.

The project was executive produced by Sean 'Contractor' Edwards of the Contractor Music Group in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and distributed online by Amada Records out of Atlanta, Georgia. The Sheeran singles on the album have been getting alot of airplay in the United States courtesy of TheDJGrid.com which is based in Miami, Florida. Dj Grid USA has placed both Sheeran singles on the album in heavy rotation on several radio stations.

These radio stations include  KRYC-Rhythm 105.9 Sacramento, WiLD 98.3 in Las Vegas,  KBEX-POWER 107.9 in Los Angeles, WXEA-HOT 94.7 in Houston, Texas,  POWER 103.1 in Atlanta, V-107FM in Seattle, WiLD 92.9 in Dallas, Texas, BEACH 105.1 in Daytona, Florida and the list goes on. Other singles from the album which has been getting heavy rotation from these same radio stations courtesy of the Dj Grid are "Pain" with Capleton, Bobo Zarro and Contractor as well as "Outlaw" with Jethro 'Alonestar' Sheeran, Contractor and Tim Starr from Trinidad.

The single "Outlaw" has also been getting heavy rotation on many other radio stations courtesy of The Digital Radio Tracker.  The single "Outlaw" appears on Digital Radio Tracker’s Global airplay singles charts as well as well as their global Top 50 R&B Hip Hop Chart.  The album "Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica" has been on the Billboard Reggae Album Charts for 5  weeks and debuted at number 2 and received a Billboard Hot Shot Award.
