Registration is Now Open for Loeb Leadership Development Group’s “Managing for Impact” – A Management Development Series for Legal Managers

Loeb Leadership Development Group announces that registration is now open for a highly interactive workshop series slated for Spring 2018 in New York City and Washington, DC.

Managing for Impact is a highly interactive development series dedicated to those responsible for supervising or managing others in the highly competitive world of law firms.  Whether managers have been “promoted from within” or transitioned into the legal industry to manage those who support the attorneys, it is the manager’s responsibility to build a collaborative team to support the needs of the lawyers and to align processes and people with the goals and initiatives of the firm. The series, slated for Spring 2018, will include events in both New York City and Washington, DC.

“We’re passionate about unlocking the high potential within our clients, and a big part of that is helping law firm leaders and managers learn how to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among their team members,” comments Gordon Loeb of Loeb Leadership Development Group, a company that has provided executive coaching and training services since 1997.

In fact, “Managing for Impact” — a management development series for legal managers — has successfully trained more than 500 legal managers over the past 7 years. Participants hail from some of the country’s leading law firms, among them Arent Fox, Cleary Gottlieb, Dechert, Fried Frank, Kelly Drye, Milbank, Proskauer, Skadden Arps, Sullivan & Cromwell, Williams & Connolly, Willkie Farr, Winston & Strawn and more.

“Managing for Impact” is a five-course series aimed at providing legal managers with the confidence and self-awareness they need to develop an effective and engaging workplace. The highly interactive series addresses some of the demands and challenges that are unique to the law firm environment.

New York sessions will be held on April 24th and May 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd, and will be hosted by Proskauer Rose, LLP. Sessions in Washington, DC are scheduled for April 19th, 26th, and May 3rd, 17th, and 24th, and will be hosted by Winston & Strawn.

“We’re excited not only about imparting key leadership skills and principles, but also in offering a free, 45-minute, one-on-one virtual coaching session to each participant, helping them tailor these principles to meet the demands of their firm,” Loeb adds.  “Attendees will also benefit by receiving CLM Certification and Re-Certification credit.

The cost for the five-workshop series, including the complimentary coaching session, is $3,500 per attendee. Space in these events is limited, and advanced registration is required. More information is available on the Web.
