Why a Kroger-Target merger makes sense to one analyst

All of the hubbub about a merger between Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. and retail giant Target Corp. rose and seemingly died quickly more than a week ago. But at least one investment analyst has taken a look at the possible deal and says it just might make sense.
