Thyssenkrupp, Voestalpine subsidiaries seek U.S. tariff exemptions

FRANKFURT, May 17 (Reuters) - U.S. subsidiaries of European steelmakers Thyssenkrupp and Voestalpine have applied for exemptions from looming import tariffs in the United States, according to company comments and public filings.
