Ex Amish girl's phenomenal journey intrigues host of an international TV program

She was eighteen years old when she fled across the country to a family in Harlingen. Ms. Gingerich not only earned a Bachelors degree but held down a full-time job and managed to write her memoir, continue her education, and eventually receive an MBA.
