Former Coca-Cola Executive Joins IDC’s Board of Directors

International Dispensing Corporation (IDC) (IDND) announced that José “Pepe” Martinez, a former executive at The Coca-Cola Company, has agreed to join its Board of Directors.

A well-known and highly-respected global supply chain executive with a strong track record in end-to-end business solutions for the food and beverage and packaging industries, Mr. Martinez spent 17 years with The Coca-Cola Company. His most recent role as Managing Director of Aseptic Carton Packaging and Production Equipment, along with his in-depth knowledge of Coca-Cola’s global system, makes him uniquely qualified to serve on IDC’s Board and make significant contributions to the company’s growth, exposure, and success.

IDC is the creator of The Answer®, the world’s only commercial aseptic tap that can safely dispense UHT liquids for an extended period from a large-format flexible package without relying on refrigeration or preservatives. Mr. Martinez is an executive with vast range and expertise, having had multiple regional and global management roles in different fields of responsibility, ranging from sales and marketing, strategic planning, procurement, to running operations.

Prior to The Coca-Cola Company Mr. Martinez spent 13 years at Eastman Chemical Company, with a particular focus on PET resins. Mr. Martinez is of Mexican descent, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and is a certified Operational Excellent Leader by the Coca-Cola Company. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
