“We are very blessed to have the dedicated team of professionals that work in the best vacation destination in the world and we are all committed to making a difference in our local community”, stated Randy Steinbeck – President of staySky® Vacation Clubs.
While volunteering at Second Harvest, staySky® team members aided with sorting and packaging food that would later be distributed to multiple organizations and families in need throughout Central Florida.

staySky® Vacation Clubs, the Orlando, Florida-based, family-friendly resort group and vacation club continues with its dedication to serving the local community by recently volunteering with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Located in Orlando, The Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a nonprofit food bank that is a member of Feeding America; the largest charitable, nonprofit, hunger-relief program in the United States. Second Harvest is able to provide food and other grocery items to roughly 550 local area nonprofits. Weekly, the nonprofit manages to provide Central Florida with approximately 1.5 million pounds of food and groceries. In 2017, Second Harvest distributed 56 million meals to its partner programs locally including food pantries, soup kitchens, kids’ cafes, women’s shelters, and senior care centers.

staySky® Vacation Clubs’ employees were proud to be a part of a volunteer effort that directly helped the community that they live and work in. While volunteering at Second Harvest, staySky® team members aided with sorting and packaging food that would later be distributed to multiple organizations and families in need throughout Central Florida. In total, staySky® volunteers packed 11,100 lbs. of onions, 5,100 lbs. of dry groceries, 3,000 lbs. of Carrots, and helped to provide 16,500 meals to the Central Florida community.

“We are very blessed to have the dedicated team of professionals that work in the best vacation destination in the world and we are all committed to making a difference in our local community”, stated Randy Steinbeck – President of staySky® Vacation Clubs

staySky® Vacation Clubs has always put a strong emphasis on volunteer efforts that help the local community and beyond.  Last year, staySky® team members rolled up their sleeves to quickly set up a donation drive to help victims affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and were able to collect enough supplies to fill a semi-truck container.

Although staySky® Vacation Clubs’ four award-winning properties and unique flexibility that allows its members to have access to close to 3,000 hotels and resorts around the world makes them standout in the hospitality industry, the company’s dedication to employees partaking in philanthropic efforts continues to solidify its reputation as a company who not only puts its guests and members first, but also deeply cares about making a positive impact in the community and the world.
