Friendship Public Charter School Online Begins 2018-2019 School Year on August 20

Students at Friendship Public Charter School Online (Friendship PCS Online) will start classes for the 2018-2019 school year on August 20, by simply turning on their computers. A full-time, online public charter school authorized by the DC Public Charter School Board, Friendship PCS Online serves DC students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Combining innovative technology with a rigorous curriculum led by DC-certified teachers, Friendship PCS Online provides students with a personalized learning experience. Students take a full course load across core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art, music and physical education.

From live classes and one-on-one instruction to chat sessions and family phone calls, dedicated teachers work in close partnership with parents and students to support academic success. The online platform enables students to enjoy a safe learning environment, and connects them with classmates and inspired teachers throughout the District.
