Lincoln Financial Group’s Lucy Gase Receives 2018 “Women Worth Watching” Award from Profiles in Diversity Journal

Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that Lucy Gase, recently named senior vice president, head of Administrative Services and Strategic Support Services, has been recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as one of their 2018 “Women Worth Watching.” The prestigious award is given annually to women who exemplify leadership, achievement and innovation. Gase was recognized for her role in the advancement of women’s initiatives across Lincoln throughout her career. Her leadership in driving transformation and innovation for financial advisors, and how they deliver comprehensive financial planning and advice, was also highlighted. Gase previously was senior vice president, Distribution Transformation for Lincoln’s wealth management organization.

Gase joined Lincoln while working through high school and college in Lincoln’s Fort Wayne offices. She was recently named senior vice president, head of Administrative Services and Strategic Support Services, with oversight for the company’s aviation, facilities, corporate real estate, employee security, business resilience and HR strategic planning functions. She previously served as the most-senior woman in Lincoln’s private wealth management organization, Lincoln Financial Network, responsible for leading the digital transformation strategy for Lincoln’s 9,000 independent financial advisors. Within Lincoln, Gase is an executive sponsor for the Women’s Business Resource Group which promotes: mentorship, career development and increasing marketplace focus on female customers. She recently partnered with executive women across the company to plan and deliver the company’s national Women’s Leadership Summit. An advocate for the Fort Wayne community, Gase has served on the boards of Stop Child Abuse and Neglect and Community Harvest Food Bank. She is an alumnus of the Leadership Fort Wayne program.
