Lincoln Financial Group Names John Foley as SVP, Head of Mortgage and Real Estate

Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) announced today that John Foley has been named senior vice president, head of Mortgage and Real Estate, effective today. In his new role, Foley will lead our commercial real estate and mortgage team, which includes leadership and management oversight for origination, closing, loan servicing, portfolio construction, and risk management of commercial mortgage loans, as well as other real estate strategies such as mezzanine loans and real estate focused limited partnerships.

Foley has over 25 years of experience in the commercial mortgage, real estate and financial sectors. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, Mortgage Loans and Real Estate for Mutual of Omaha. Prior to that, he was a vice president with Voya Investment Management. He has also held senior leadership roles at Broadview Financial and Business Men’s Assurance Company of America, among other firms.

Foley earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from Creighton University. He is a Board Member, Secretary of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officers Council and a member of the Mortgage Bankers of America.
