Introducing the PLA Motion Controller, a Custom Designed Controller that will Make Playing FPS Games Easier than Ever

The Upcoming PLA Motion Controller is Currently the Focus of a Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 16, 2018 / Edward F. Larkin, a self-described "serial entrepreneur" and product designer with over 35 years of experience, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the innovative PLA Motion Controller. The custom designed controller will make playing FPS/Action games easier, faster and more realistically than typing on a gaming keyboard.

As a spokesperson for the PLA Motion Controller noted, typing on a keyboard to control characters and vehicles in modern FPS games is uncomfortable, difficult and unintuitive. While FPS games have become quite realistic, controlling the actions of the people in the games has not advanced at the same pace.

This inspired Larkin, a veteran gamer and product designer, to create the PLA Motion Controller, which will allow people to play FPS games without a gaming keyboard.

"It took over 4 years to develop and the result is a device that uses multiple joysticks to naturally control the movements and motions of your character and features an industry first, a built-in analog/digital steering wheel for totally realistic control for steering vehicles," the spokesperson noted, adding that by using the programmable Joysticks, it can quickly and easily execute as many as 160 keyboard commands, totally eliminating the need to use a keyboard to play.

In addition, Larkin has designed the PLA Motion Controller to be ambidextrous so the playing field is leveled for every gamer that chooses to use this controller.

"The hardware and software will be open source allowing the open source community to write drivers for Linux and Mac's and any other projects like VR/AR or Robotic control."

In order to help pay for the many costs associated with bringing the PLA Motion Controller to market, Larkin recently launched a campaign on Kickstarter. There, he hopes to raise $50,000 through crowdfunding and help make FPS games as easy and fun as possible for gamers.
