Lincoln Financial Group’s Lisa M. Buckingham Elected Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources

Lincoln Financial Group announced today that Chief People, Place and Brand Officer Lisa M. Buckingham was elected Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), an honor considered the most prestigious in the field of human resources (HR). Fellows of the NAHR are widely known and recognized as leaders in the HR profession, have meritorious national or global reputations for shaping HR thinking and/or policy, and have demonstrated an unfailing commitment to success for both themselves and others in the profession.

Other inductees in her class included Anthony Nyberg, executive director, Riegel & Emory Human Resource Research Center; Diane Gherson, chief human resources officer, IBM Corporation; Dermot O’Brien, chief transformation officer, ADP; and Angela S. Lalor, senior vice president, Human Resources, Danaher Corporation.

Buckingham’s list of accolades includes being named the 2017 HR Executive of the Year by Human Resource Executive magazine, as well as one of the top 10 CHROs in a 2015 list published by Forbes, and a 2012 Pennsylvania Woman of the Year by the Pennsylvania Diversity Council.
