Concurrency, Inc. Named to Wisconsin Inno's 2018 "50 on Fire"

50 people and companies heating up Wisconsin Tech

MILWAUKEE, WI, November 29, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brookfield-based technology consulting firm Concurrency, Inc. is among Wisconsin Inno's 2018 50 on Fire list of "50 people, companies and organizations that are heating up Wisconsin tech."

Wisconsin Inno covers the tech and startup scene statewide. In announcing the list, editor Jim Dalke wrote, "50 on Fire is a snapshot at some of the biggest movers and shakers across the state's tech communities. Winners range from innovative upstarts to publicly traded tech giants to organizations looking to make Wisconsin's tech scene more diverse."

Wisconsin Inno called out Concurrency for providing "technology expertise to help Wisconsin businesses stay competitive, both nationally and globally." The publication noted that "since its founding in 1989, Concurrency has worked with all of the Wisconsin-based S&P 500 companies."

Nathan Lasnoski, Chief Technology Officer at Concurrency, said, "Digital transformation is essential for companies to stay competitive on the national and global stage, and we're proud to be recognized by Wisconsin Inno for that work, including cutting-edge technologies such as Machine Learning and Internet of Things."

Concurrency's founder and President James Savage said, "Over 30 years, we've been honored to work with hundreds of organizations, from startups to the largest and most established companies in the state. Doing that work over that length of time gives us an unusually deep perspective on what's happening in Wisconsin tech progress—and what's incredibly encouraging is that many world-class companies are transforming themselves to ensure they stay world-class into the future."

Concurrency helps Midwest organizations get past barriers that hold them back. These include lack of technology specialization, uncertainty about data privacy and security needs, and reluctance to embrace the digital transformation that's needed to stay competitive in fast-changing industries.
