Q: What does being a Consumer Choice Award Winner mean to you? How did winning the Consumer Choice Award impact your business?

A: Winning the Consumer Choice Award for the Greater Vancouver Area for the second year is very motivational and uplifting for us. It compels us to provide the best possible care to our patients and to strive to further improve our services.

Q: What makes your business unique in the market?

A: We strive to provide highly individualized dental services in the field of denture prosthetics. We are honest and genuine and we put great emphasis on patient follow up after the treatment is completed.

Q: How do you keep up with the trends in your industry?

A: I attend a full three-day Dental Conference each March. I read several dental journals regularly and I also complete monthly dental webinars on most recent topics in denture and implant prosthetics.

Q: If you could do one thing differently in your business, what would it be?

A: I would have liked to have started using dental photography even earlier in my career. I have been using photographic documentation and communication for the last several years, but not from the start of my practice.

Q: What makes your business unique in the market?

A: Artificial teeth are a very unique custom made appliance, which is entirely different for each patient. No two cases are alike. We approach each patient with an open mind and explain possible treatment options and likely outcomes for each situation.

Q: Name a person who has had a tremendous impact on you? How did this person impact your life?

A: My mom has been a practicing dentist for over 50 years. I have been familiar with the topic of teeth and dentures for a long time. I have started my career in engineering but realized that having my own place of work – my own practice – is a more satisfying and independent way of working. I have been running my own Denture Clinic for the last 19 years.

Q: What are the "core values" of your organization?

A: Clear and honest explanation of patient's conditions and results which can be achieved with different treatment choices.

Q: What is the next priority for your business?

A: Further investment in digital denture technology.
