Northeastern Eye Institute Welcomes Dr. Emily Jones to the Team

Optometrist serves patients at locations in Scranton and Honesdale, Pennsylvania

SCRANTON, PA, February 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Northeastern Eye Institute (NEI) announced on Wednesday the addition of a new doctor to its team of renowned ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other eye care professionals. Dr. Emily Jones is proud to join the 35-year tradition of excellence at NEI.

Dr. Jones earned her undergraduate and doctor of optometry degrees at higher education institutions in Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Jones also completed advanced studies in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases, as well as internships in the fields of vision therapy, pediatrics, and primary care.

Dr. Jones practices at the Northeastern Eye Institute offices in Scranton and Honesdale, Pennsylvania. These are two of the 15 locations NEI has throughout the region. Both offices are home to a contemporary optical department providing eye exams and assistance to patients picking out glasses and contact lenses.

The flagship Scranton location also houses a licensed ambulatory surgical center and laser vision correction center. These and other services demonstrate the advanced continuum of care at Northeastern Eye Institute.
