The newly established firm has nearly sixty years of collective legal experience, with each of the attorneys aiming to provide a personal and boutique client experience.
David Jerome received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and the Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and his Juris Doctorate at the St. Louis University School of Law. His practice is focused entirely on workers’ compensation. “My friends and family would say I'm a natural problem solver. I believe the law is here to provide boundaries so that people can find their way to justice,” says Jerome.
David Jerome is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, and the St. Clair County Bar Association. He also has notable past experiences including serving as President of Kids’ Chance of Illinois, working with Kids’ Chance of Missouri, the Collinsville Planning Commission, and also currently serves as the Collinsville City Councilman. “As the managing partner of the firm, I am committed to making sure every client receives individualized and personal attention,” affirmed Jerome. “We are not a ‘big box’ law firm and we do not treat client files like an assembly line.”
Jaye Lindsay served in the Army, and worked in other high risk occupations such as fire fighting and truck driving. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2006 at the University of South Florida, before obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2011 at the Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Masters' in Health and Law Policy at the same university in 2015. Lindsay handles a wide range of cases, including personal injury, motorcycle accidents, truck collisions, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, lawsuits against government agencies, probate/guardianship, veterans’ disability appeals, and Military discharge upgrades. He also provides regular pro bono counsel for legal aid clients.
Lindsay states, “I've witnessed the harsh inequities of large corporations taking advantage of people, denying their rights, and outright exploiting people. I consider it my life's work to stand up for those who are injured, abused, neglected or wronged. I have a wide range of experience and am available to discuss your legal needs and concerns.”
Rick Salmi, the third partner, received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois in January 1991 and concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and social security disability matters. He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has experience working with Kid’s Chance Illinois, was on the Edwardsville School District’s Citizen’s Advisory Committee, served as a Trustee for the Village of Hamel and member of the Planning Commission.
