Luumi Aims to Remove 1 Million Plastic Bags from Circulation in Thailand

The campaign, aimed at one of the world's largest sources of ocean bound plastics, gets underway this year on Earth Day, April 22, with a goal of removing 1 million plastic bags from circulation.

On average, Thais use eight plastic bags per day per person, which amounts to a whopping 200 billion bags each year. Each product purchased from the Luumi collection will replace 100 plastic bags a year.
