Mastercard launches True Name cards to make paying with credit cards easier for trans and non-binary communities

On June 17, Mastercard announced the True Name™ card, which will allow for chosen names to appear on the front of consumers' cards. This new initiative will allow members of the LGBTQ community to use their chosen name on their cards and hopefully face less discrimination.
