Two Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) approaches use complimentary column chemistries with different workflows: electrospray ionization-focused and atmospheric-pressure chemical ionization (APCI)-focused. When applied to the California Pesticides and Canada Pesticides lists, these flexible approaches can help to rapidly update methods when additional pesticides get added and detection sensitivity requirements are made more stringent.
