U.S. Air Force calls for proposals to replace Minuteman III ICBMs

The U.S. Air Force announced an RFP aimed at Boeing and Northrop Grumman for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, a new intercontinental ballistic missile weapon system to replace the 1960s-era Minuteman III ICBM.
