FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Castlemaine, Australia, 5 March 2020 – Web design and Digital Marketing Specialists We Push Buttons are again putting their energies where the arts are through the promotion of Arts Open 2020—Meet the Makers, this year’s 5th biennial visual arts festival held in Castlemaine and surrounds.
Arts Open 2020 sees visual artists from all over the Mount Alexander Shire open their studio doors, giving the public a chance to meet the region’s creators, witness the spaces where work is made, learn about the creative process — and, importantly, purchase work directly from the artists.
With a longstanding commitment to developing the arts and engage further in the local creative community, We Push Buttons is once more supporting the festival with an online presence, web hosting, and extensive digital marketing and branding.
Director of We Push Buttons Rob Jennings, who co-founded Arts Open in 2010 with local Castlemaine artists Ben Laycock and Michelle Day, is a lifelong backer of the creative arts:
“Castlemaine is famed for the diverse arts community calling this place home and that means a lot to all of us here at We Push Buttons; it’s very much a part of who we are. And it goes beyond simple feelings: we’ve worked for a number of artists and arts organisations so that connection is, again, intrinsic to who we are, and hence, who we are as a business.”
Over the years We Push Buttons have worked on festival web design of all sizes, from Ringo Starr’s art exhibitions, Star Wars exhibitions, visual art festivals, comedy tours, comic book conventions as well as music events and education events. The creative sector is just some of We Push Buttons’ wide range of clients, who also include the not-for-profit sector, SMB businesses, as well as local and state government agencies.
Arts Open 2020 begins with an official launch party at Castlemaine venue The Taproom, 9 Walker St, on Friday 6 March at 6.30pm.
Level 1, 12- 18 Hargraves St.
