Blackstone invests $2 bln in Alnylam Pharma

Blackstone Group Inc said on Monday it invested $2 billion in Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc through an equity-and-debt deal, giving the drugmaker a financial boost to develop its experimental therapies.
