State data suggests hospital finances quickly recovered over the summer

At least half of the state's hospitals quickly reversed their fortunes in June and July, clawing back from big losses in the previous three months, according to new data from the state. But it is unclear if even that will make up for the continued financial hardship of the pandemic.
