Dr. Ruchi Sogarwal, CEO, IIHD India said, "People's reluctance towards preventive care, unawareness about their own infected status, and social-stigma amongst the diagnosed and recovered patients are the most influencing determinants affecting the mission of protects everyone from pandemic at the grass-root level".

During the occasion, the IIHD India team have also interacted with some of the senior government officials. One of the senior officials mentioned, "We should sustain the good hygiene practices that COVID 19 has resurfaced for larger community protection, not only to protect from the current pandemic but also from other respiratory infections"
