San Francisco, Dec 14, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Harmonic Humanity Homeless Heroes make $60,000 selling music CDs featuring Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, Michael Franti, Sarah McLachlan and Ace of Cups on the streets of SF in Five Months.

What do Maroon 5, Michael Franti, Jason Mraz, Sarah McLachlan & Ace of Cups, have in common? These musicians have joined forces to support the homeless vendors of the local Street Sheet newspaper by selling their music on the streets. This rockstar alliance is called Harmonic Humanity, and the new compilation album is entitled, "HERO, One Cape Fits All."

On July 1st Harmonic Humanity gave the Street Sheets Organization 2,000 HERO CD's along with 4000 "Be Love Postcards" and on December 1st, in just five months, the vendors have sold them all. This equals $60,000 in the hands of the Street Sheet Vendors. (The HERO CD's sell for $20 and The Be Love Postcards sell of $5 each).

"The music selected for the HERO album as well as the art for the Postcards was selected for its message of hope, love and courage," says Harmonic Humanity Director Joseph Jacques. "The Vendors selling these CDs and Postcards are economic heroes, helping themselves while providing world-class art to the community. If you see a Street Sheet Vendor selling this HERO CD or Be Love Postcards, please buy one, help spread the message of hope and heroism."

Harmonic Humanity looks to continue their great success in 2021 with a 10 city "Joe in a Van Roadtrip of Love" where Mr. Jacques will be distributing 5000 HERO CDs along with 2000 Be Love Postcards to local homeless organizations in 10 cities across the U.S.

"We're starting a 'Two months of LOVE', fundraiser from December 14th to Valentine's Day, February 14th, to raise $100,000 to pay for the new CDs and postcards," Jacques said with a smile. "I know our great musicians and artists will step up to help, and with the public and fans chipping in too, together we can create over 1 million dollars worth of jobs for the homeless."

According to Jason Mraz, Grammy-winning recording artist, "It's humanity harmonizing, that's what music has the power to do. I think art and music is the language that we all speak beyond the languages we speak in our individual societies. I think it has a tremendous healing power, which is why I was attracted to Harmonic Humanity.  It was an opportunity for the music to be a potent medicine as well as an economic opportunity."

Since 2013 Harmonic Humanity & Street Sheets have worked together to add a selling boost for the hundreds of homeless vendors who rely on selling the Street Sheet, a newspaper that prints the reporting of poor and homeless people on the political issues impacting them.
