Visa says quarterly net income jumps 73%

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Visa Inc. reported a 73% jump in quarterly net income late Wednesday as the operator of the world's largest electronic payments system controlled costs in the face of a global recession and got a one-time boost from a Brazilian initial public offering.
