On December 6, 2004, American Vanguard Corporation issued a press release announcing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AMVAC Chemical Corporation, entered into an agreement with Bayer CropScience LP, an affiliate of Bayer AG (NYSE:BAY) to market, sell and distribute Bolster 15G. The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
