ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS

 

On December 21, 2004, Environmental Power Corporation (the “Registrant”) received notification from the American Stock Exchange (“Amex”) that the Registrant’s common stock, $0.01 par value per share, had been approved for listing on Amex. The Registrant’s common stock is expected to begin trading on Amex under the trading symbol “EPG” on December 27, 2004. The Registrant’s common stock is currently traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol “EVPW.”

 

The approval of the listing of the Registrant’s common stock on Amex is contingent upon the Registrant being in compliance with all applicable listing standards on the date it begins trading on Amex, and may be rescinded if the Registrant is not in compliance with such standards.
