On December 21, 2006, the Board of Directors of R&G Financial Corporation, San Juan, Puerto Rico (the “Company”) elected Mr. Rolando Rodriguez as a director of the Company, effective January 1, 2007. Since his election as a director, Mr. Rodriguez has been named to the Strategic Capital Committee of the Board of Directors.
