Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On July 21, 2005 Pulte Homes, Inc. ("Pulte" or the "Company") issued a press release (the "Press Release") announcing that Brian P. Anderson and Patrick J. O’Leary have been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective on September 1, 2005.

Mr. Anderson will serve on the Company's audit committee and its nominating and governance committee, and his term as director will continue until the 2008 annual meeting of shareholders.

Mr. O’Leary will serve on the Company's audit committee and its compensation committee, and his term as director will continue until the 2006 annual meeting of shareholders.
